A4 range model was voted as the most secured vehicle in the compact performance class while the Q5 tops the compact 4×4 class of cars.

The S8 was rated as the best in the performance car class and the A5 Cabriolet won the awards in the open-top class.

In the premium sector, the lowest insurance group ratings are grossly affected by high grade security.

Audi has an uncompromising approach when it comes to car security.

Carting away four trophies in different categories in the British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards recently held at the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre in Thatcham, Berkshire.

About four of the Audi models were voted the best in class in the specific model categories when they were assessed by some health experts using the New Vehicle Security Rating (NVSR) process.

This process awards star ratings on the security features of a car based on the “theft of” and “theft from” protection.

All four Audi models (the Q5 Compact SUV, the A4 Saloon, A5 Cabriolet and the S8 luxury high performance saloon) achieved higher NVSR scores than their respective competitors.

As a proof of the Vorsprung Durch Technik brand’s absolute commitment to security, they have been able to come out tops in fifteen different categories since the awards began back in 2006.

According to data sourced from the Association of British Insurers (ABI) group ratings database, the insurance premiums of many users of Audi vehicles are the lowest in the premium sector.

This no doubt is due to Audi’s meticulous approach in designing the security features of their vehicles which have not only helped with insurance but also brought outstanding results in the anti-theft protection drive for Audi customers.

Audi UK Director, Mr. Jeremy Hicks when commenting on this impressive achievement said: “The plaudits recognizing the efforts of Audi AG’s security team in making the Audi range as secure as possible just keep on coming year after year. With their help our Audi customers not only benefit from exemplary protection, but also from the lowest-in-sector insurance premiums that their meticulous approach has made possible”.

Audi and the Audi TT have long been a firm favorite for car tuners from Europe and especially Germany. Of late the Audi R8 supercar has also began to garner attention, with some of the best tuners displaying their version of the Audi R8 at various custom car shows, including Germany’s own Essen Motor Show. Audi cars are also popular at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada and at the Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan.

sually, I’m not that big of a fan of the Audi automobiles, only because I think that they are quite overrated, however, this one stole my heart and my breath, because of the awesome job that was done with the paint on this car. I can’t believe how amazing this car looks. Granted, it is only a paint job on an Audi TT with Moon Disks, but it’s just gorgeous in my opinion. I don’t say this often, but if I could get my hands on this one, I would blow the doors off of that thing. I just can’t get over how good it looks and how much time whoever did the pain job took. I know this much: color layering is a bit tricky, but to add that along with flames? Holy moly! It’s just one more reason I can fully appreciate this car, but mostlt the artwork on the car.
