If you happened to see the 2009 European spec Honda Accord that made its debut at this month’s Geneva Show (if you didn’t then you’ll be familiar with the 2009 Acura TSX’s appearance as the only differences between the two cars concern the Acura logos and the new front grille. Even though we liked the ’08 TSX’s design, we’re not so sure that we agree with Acura’s evolutionary approach to the 2009 TSX’s styling.

Honda’s premium marque Acura is recalling 273,000 TLs from the 2004 to 2008 model year due to a faulty power steering hose. According to the Japanese carmaker, prolonged high under-hood temperatures may cause the hose to deteriorate prematurely thus leading to a power steering fluid leakage onto the hot catalytic converter. If this happens, it will generate smoke and possibly lead to an under-hood fire. Acura dealers will install a new heat resistant power steering hose free of charge. Owners of the affected vehicles may contact Acura at 1-800-382-2238 for more info.

Honda’s premium marque Acura today announced pricing for the all-new 2009 TSX sedan (sold as the Honda Accord in Europe) that will go on sale at dealerships in the U.S. on April 24th.  Equipped with a 201 Hp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder unit, the 2009 TSX will be available in two guises, the base model that costs at $28,960 and the fully-featured TSX with Technology Package that will set you back by $32,060.

The 2009 TSX is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or 5-speed automatic for no additional charge. Compared to the outgoing model, Acura hiked the TSX’s prices by approximately 4.3 percent.

A prototype of the all-new Acura TL that is expected to be introduced at either this November’s Los Angeles Auto Show or the Detroit Show in January 2009 was caught by a member of the VTEC website performing road tests in Purdue, Indiana. The cameraphone pictures reveal a few details of the TL’s body including the weird looking rear-end that seems to be inspired from the shape of Acura’s new trapezoidal grille.

Design aside, according to rumors that were leaked out of recent dealer meeting back in the spring, the new Acura TL’s line-up is expected to include a 3.5-liter V6 engine available in both front and all-wheel-drive versions along with a top-end 3.7-liter V6 producing more than 300Hp combined exclusively with an all-wheel-drive powertrain.

Acura NSX running around the Nurburgring race track in Germany might not be of the best visual quality, but boy does that i-VTEC sound nice! From what we’ve heard, the new NSX will feature a front-mounted V10 engine and a new high-performance, rear-wheel-drive based version of Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system.

An eagle-eyed reader over at our Jalopnik friends snapped this picture of a heavily camouflaged 2009 Acura TL prototype roaming the roads of Ohio. The new shot gives us yet another glimpse of the 2009 TL’s strangely formed buttocks. From what we know, the new TL is expected to make its debut at either this November’s Los Angeles Auto Show or the Detroit Show in January 2009.

Acura decided to release a teaser image of its 2009 TL sedan that’s set to go on sale in the U.S. this fall. Although Acura didn’t provide any other pictures, the Japanese carmaker was kind enough to inform us that the new TL sedan will be offered in two distinctive versions one of which will be equipped with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. Acura also vaguely states that the TL will feature the brand’s most powerful engine ever. So until Acura releases more details, we’d like to hear what you have to say about the TL’s design. Leave your thoughts in the comment section.

Spy photographers are having a blast this year with the forthcoming Honda / Acura NSX which has been spotted once again in and around the Nurburgring race track in Germany. These pictures that come to us from the folks at Cartribe give us a fuzzy glimpse of the 2010 NSX’s interior which features a F1 Racing Car styled steering wheel.

Despite the fact the NSX test mule’s heavy camouflage doesn’t allow us to see the design details, it’s pretty obvious that Honda’s new supercar looks quite similar to the 2007 Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept. Although it’s no secret that the new NSX will be equipped with a front-mounted V10 engine -as opposed to the first generation NSX’s mid-engine, rear-wheel layout, it remains unclear whether the NSX will get a rear-wheel-drive or an AWD setup.

Even though Acura has released a teaser image of the 2009 TL sedan ahead of its market launch that’s scheduled for this fall, we still don’t have a full view of the Japanese carmaker’s mid-size sport sedan. And here’s where private individuals come to the rescue. A Flickr user stumbled upon a pre-production 2009 Acura TL in a parking lot with minimal camo as the only parts of the car taped were the front badge and the boot – maybe its hiding an inverted version of the front grille… Unfortunately, the driver of the TL had thrown a towel on the dashboard thus preventing us from seeing any significant details of the car’s interior design.

All of the sudden BMW’s X6 makes sense to other carmakers like Acura who from the looks of these scoop pictures taken in the California desert, is readying its own crossover-coupe hybrid. Other than these photos from Car Magazine, there’s not much information going around the Japanese automaker’s newest proposition that will rival large-crossovers like the BMW X6 and the Infiniti FX. However, we’ll try to find out more details on the yet unnamed Acura so stay tuned.
